01 Define your endpoint and monitoring type
You can define the type of monitoring SiteStatus to perform, currently there are two types of tests which SiteStatus supports -- PING and CuRL. For ping type tests you can specify an IP Address or a domain level address. For CuRL type test you can provide a URL. For Ping type tests, SiteStatus will notify you whenever your endpoint gives a PING TimeOut. For Curl You can specify response codes for which you want to get notified. For example: You can create a CuRL endpoint and set it to notify you whenever your endpoint returns HTTP 500 response code.

02 Add your team members
You can add multiple people to your "Contacts" and add them to receive alerts for a particular endpoint. This comes in handy when there are multiple people that need to know about the uptime status of your infrastructure.

03 Set frequency and reporting
You can custmise the frequency at which you want SiteStatus to perform telemetry test. In the enterprise plan we offer telemetry frequency as low as 1 min. You can select a custom telemetry frequency depending of the criticality of your endpoint uptime. You also get to view detailed historical report of the telemetry tests performed by SiteStatus.
